Alpe Veglia, at the bridge that crosses the Aurona stream.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a1533a elementor-widget provides the measurement (in meters) of the water surface above the sensor (piezometer). Usually, for obvious reasons of protection, the sensor is not positioned on the line with the greatest depth of the river bed (thalweg), so to really know the depth of the channel, the vertical distance between the thalweg and sensor must be added to the sensor measurement (which unfortunately does not is immutable). This parameter is essential to measure the riverbed's hydraulic section, from which the flow rate is obtained by multiplying it by the average speed of the river current.<\/li><li><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Electrical conductivity <\/strong> of water: measured in micro Siemens per cm (\u00b5S \/ cm). The salts dissolved in the water allow the passage of electric current because they are in ionic form, that is, equipped with one or more electric charges: in all types of water, from underground to rainwater, we find sodium ions, potassium ions, chloride ions , sulfate ions and others, in different concentrations. Since conductivity increases proportionally to the concentration of dissolved substances, this parameter is useful for obtaining a value, albeit approximate, of the salt content of a water.  <\/o:p><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Temperatura <\/strong>dell&#8217;acqua: in gradi Celsius (\u00b0C). The concentration of suspended sediments is characterized by a high spatial (cross section) and temporal variability. A common way to calculate the annual suspended sediment load and the load of individual flow classes is to use flow duration curves and evaluation curves for the relationship between Suspended Sediment Concentration (SSC) and discharge.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section concentration can be overcome with frequent sampling (in our case almost continuously) and interpolation calculations for the time between sampling intervals. Although turbidity measurement is the most frequently used indirect method for continuous monitoring of suspended solids concentration, the turbidity signal is influenced not only by sediment concentration but also by their particle size distribution, colour and material content\u2014organic, which can be an important component in glaciated regions. The relationship between turbidity units and SSC must be calibrated for each measuring station. Furthermore, due to the spatial variation of SSC in the cross-section, there are differences, sometimes even considerable, between the value provided by the theoretical and laboratory models and those of the empirical measurements in the field. This variability in the transversal profiles persists even when the flow is highly turbulent. In fact, significant temporal and spatial variations in the concentration of suspended sediments and the particle size composition have been observed even during flood anche rilevato un ulteriore parametro che deve essere per\u00f2 misurato periodicamente <i>in-situ,<\/i> nel tratto di alveo adiacente alla stazione di misura, tramite l\u2019uso di apposite \u201ctrappole\u201d dei sedimenti: il carico di sedimenti trasportati sul fondo dell\u2019alveo.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p>La quantit\u00e0 di carico di fondo che ci si pu\u00f2 aspettare \u00e8 molto variabile, in quanto il trasporto del carico di fondo \u00e8 il processo di trasporto dei sedimenti fluviali pi\u00f9 complesso<br \/>sia per quanto riguarda la sua misurazione che la quantificazione. Questa complessit\u00e0 \u00e8 dovuta a una combinazione di fattori che sono legati alla variabilit\u00e0 spaziale e temporale del processo, alle condizioni morfometriche e idrauliche del sito, alle caratteristiche granulometriche e di forma del carico di fondo e delle particelle della superficie del letto.\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p>Per raccogliere sul campo serie di dati accurati sul carico di fondo vengono utilizzate diverse tecniche dirette ed indirette con diverso successo. Di queste, nessuna pu\u00f2 essere chiaramente preferita, quindi in molti casi una combinazione di diversi approcci di<br \/>misurazione porter\u00e0 a risultati soddisfacenti.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p>Per una corretta misurazione del carico di fondo sul letto stesso, deve essere prima effettuata sul campo la mappatura della morfologia del letto rispetto alle sequenze riffle-pool, step-pool, affioramenti di bedrock, grandi detriti legnosi e canale, oltre ad analisi dettagliate della granulometria della superficie (mediante conteggio dei ciottoli\/griglia per numero) e del materiale subsuperficiale (per volume, per peso) per ottenere informazioni sulla rugosit\u00e0 e sulla distribuzione granulometrica.<span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-f401749 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"f401749\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-981f824\" data-id=\"981f824\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d278d57 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d278d57\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Il trasporto fluviale del carico di fondo (bedload) di un corso d\u2019acqua in ambiente periglaciale mostra la sua massima intensit\u00e0 e un picco intra-annuale durante l&#8217;alto deflusso generato dalla fusione della neve in giugno. Infatti \u00e8 in primavera (aprile-giugno) che la maggior parte dei sedimenti viene consegnata dai pendii nei canali principali dei torrenti a causa di cadute di massi, valanghe di neve valanghe, erosione delle rive dei canali e trasferimenti fluviali attraverso piccoli affluenti. In estate (luglio-agosto) invece, quantit\u00e0 significative di materiale pu\u00f2 essere fornito sia dall&#8217;erosione della sponda del canale del torrente, ma soprattutto dai contributi degli affluenti collegati ai ghiacciai, che giungono all&#8217;interno dei canali principali durante l&#8217;alto deflusso indotto dalla fusione dei ghiacciai. In questo tipo di ambiente montano ripido e parzialmente glacializzato, quantificare i tassi di trasporto fluviale attuale del bedload e delle portate annuali di bedload per i bacini di drenaggio, permette di fare affermazioni sull&#8217;importanza assoluta e relativa del trasporto fluviale del bedload.\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section i possibili effetti del cambiamento climatico globale sui bilanci sedimentari e sul trasporto del bedload fluviale, infatti una ridotta quantit\u00e0 di neve in inverno porterebbe a un minore numero annuale di valanghe di neve e, di conseguenza, a minori quantit\u00e0 di materiale trasferito nei canali principali del torrente.
